Bandwidth policy ID
The Bandwidth policy allows you to define how often CDM requests a delta update from the remote system. A default bandwidth policy, which you can edit anytime, is automatically assigned to all the mapping groups in your organization. Along with the default, you can also create 199 custom bandwidth policies.
When you create a custom bandwidth policy, we assign it a unique ID. This is a registry string value that informs CDM about the bandwidth policy to apply to mapping groups in your organization at startup. If you want to assign different bandwidth policies to different users within your organization, you must deploy this registry string value. While you can deploy it using an application deployment tool of your choice, this section provides information on how to do so through Group Policy (GPO) and Microsoft Intune.
In this section, the terms bandwidth policy ID and registry string value refer to the same configuration entry.
