License information

The license information section displays the CDM license key associated with your tenancy, its status, and its expiry date. You can also copy your license key from here, which is helpful when you need to provide this information while installing CDM.

Licensing options available to you include the following:

  • Trial: A 30-day trial license allows you to experience CDM firsthand, giving you a deeper insight into its features and the opportunity to assess whether it meets your needs and expectations. Once you map your first drive using your trial license, information related to the license appears in the license information section on the dashboard.   • Full: A full license allows you to use CDM for a fixed period, with the duration and the maximum number of users who can use the license agreed upon at the time of purchase. You can increase or decrease the number of users and renew or extend the contract anytime during the fixed-term period.

License statuses

The appearance of the license information section varies depending on the license type and its status. CDM licenses can have the following statuses:

Active

An Active license is a valid, full license currently in use. The license information section displays the expiration date of an active license. When the license has 14 days or fewer remaining, this section shows a countdown to the expiration date. At this point, you can click the drop-down next to the status and select Renew. Trial

A Trial license is intended for use during a limited trial period. When the trial has 14 days or fewer remaining, the license information section displays a countdown to the end of the trial. At any point during the trial, you can click the drop-down next to the status and select Purchase. A member of our sales team will reach out to you.

Expired

An Expired license refers to either a full license that was not renewed before its expiration date or a trial license that has reached its end date. Once a license has expired, its expiration date is displayed. As soon as the status of a full license changes from Active to Expired, we recommend you click the drop-down next to the status and select Renew. A member of our sales team will reach out to you.
