Checking the CDM.CoAuthHandler.exe process
When you install CDM, we register a process called CDM.CoAuthHandler.exe. The CDM installer has a strict detection method to check that it registers this process successfully. If this process fails, co-authoring will not work with CDM. To check if the CDM installer has registered CDM.CoAuthHandler.exe successfully:

Press Windows + R on your keyboard to open the Run dialog box.

Enter regedit in the Open: box, then select OK. The User Account Control dialog box appears.

Select Yes to launch the Registry Editor.

Expand the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT registry hive to select CLSID > {1fd0f480-ccf3-4596-b2de-e536e683241e} > LocalServer32 (HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{1fd0f480-ccf3-4596-b2de-e536e683241e}\LocalServer32).

You should see the ServerExecutable REG_SZ value. The value should point to the CDM.CoAuthHandler.exe located where you installed CDM.
By default, the location will be: C:\Program Files\IAM Cloud\Cloud Drive Mapper\CDM.CoAuthHandler.exe.
