Deploy CDM using the EXE file

When you deploy CDM silently using the EXE file, the EXE installer installs the following runtime components automatically:

• Minimum requirement: Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime

• Minimum requirement: Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8

• Mandatory requirement for x64 devices: Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 8 (x64)

• Mandatory requirement for ARM64 devices: Microsoft .NET Desktop Runtime 8 (x64 and ARM64)

Depending on your environment, you can deploy CDM using its EXE installer to both x64 and ARM64 devices. You can download the EXE file for either of the two device types from the Downloads page in Iris.

While you can deploy CDM using an application deployment tool of your choice, this section provides information about how to do so through Group Policy (GPO) and Microsoft Intune. If your environment is domain-joined, deploy the installer using GPO. When deploying to managed cloud devices, use Microsoft Intune.
