Managing legacy mapping groups
Editing legacy mapping groups
In the CDM legacy portal, validation rules did not apply when you added drives to the original groups (now known as mapping groups). However, the following validation rules apply to all mapping groups in Iris:
-
You can only map one drive letter to a Direct: OneDrive.
-
You can map multiple drive letters to a Direct: SharePoint document library.
-
You can only have one of each dynamic drive type within a custom mapping group.
Existing legacy mapping groups and drive configurations that don’t comply with these validation rules will remain active. However, when editing a legacy mapping group in Iris, you must remove any duplicate Direct: OneDrive drives or multiple dynamic drive types before saving your changes.
To edit a legacy mapping group:
-
Select Legacy mapping groups from the CDM menu .
